Winning some Rose Bowels and making some playoffs? appearances and having a generational player at QB means Oregon is a program. In other words, they could get it right, too, and if they do, they will be in your way because it's another real program in your region and because you have to play them to win your division. Oregon is not anything like Cuog!.
This is more than Washington getting it right. You have a program in your backyard that can do it too. -

At the risk of pissing off some younger DAWGS, James had to beat USC and UCLA and then ASU when they came along. Oregon was a non factor as was the Bay Area and the Palouse and Corvallis. And TusconYellowSnow said:

Since football was invented every sqwad but Arizona has had a Pac title or in the case of Oregon State a magical season with a tie for the title but not the tie breaker. Except Tuscon.
There is more parity but that hasn't stopped great coaches from building dynasties in other leagues. Even Carroll got one going that in true Carroll fashion, he got the least out of it that was possible -
