It means he’s going somewhere else. but they don’t wanna ruin his announcement. When they go to cloudy this close to SD usually means the kid is about to flip.
And/or Yary still hasn’t confirmed to them that’s he’s now gonna sign early. Per Biggins he told USC last week that he was gonna wait to sign until February.
Was this before or after they decided to retain Helton?
I don’t think Helton staying is necessarily a good thing for them when it comes to nabbing him on signing day.

It's not, he doesn't want to play in the air raid system and his dad is pushing him to look at other schools. UW needs to close him before Oregon jumps in.
