When facts don’t fit the narrative ...

“The latest FBI crime numbers for 2018 were released last week. They got little media coverage, probably because they were fairly positive so there was no anti-Trump angle, but not so positive that the pro-Trump crowd could gloat.
I examined all of the homicide data and wrote down the highlights and potential narratives, which I think many of you will find interesting. Some highlights of the highlights:
-Murder victims dropped by over 1,000 (6.6%)
-The number of whites killing blacks was less than half of blacks killing whites. However, both categories declined considerably, a positive sign.
-Despite the hoopla surrounding “assault rifles”, rifle murders plunged and were less than 1/20th of handgun murders. Knives and “personal weapons” (fists, feet, etc.) killed far more than rifles.
-Major cities (which tend to be Democrat controlled) led the decline in murders, with a few notable exceptions. For example, Chicago and Baltimore both had big declines, Philly and DC had increases.
For all the data check out the link, I lay out many narratives based on it that will please (and piss off) both sides. I also identify the most and least dangerous cities and states, enjoy!”

Rifles/long guns are ALWAYS a tiny percentage of murders. It's hard to put an AR in your pocket or waistband.MikeDamone said:The facts are ignored.

Surprised a liberal/commie like you hasn't proposed that. After all blacks make up 13% of the population and commit more than 50% of the violent crime in out country so why haven't you called for a ban on them? All long guns are usually about 3% of the murders and misnamed "assault weapons" comprise only a fraction of that yet you want them banned. Why aren't you red's applying that logic in other places? Like the fact most mass shooters are democrats. We need a ban on democrats!2001400ex said:

Reading for comprehension is still something that escapes you.
My guess is you’re the only one here who needs to be spoon fed. It’s not even a partisan post. Yet you can’t figure it out. As usual. Idiot.
Then after you whining about be adding words to your mouth. You then actually add words to my mouth.
Funny how the article doesn't say anything about mass shootings. Wonder why that is? Maybe cause the facts didn't fit his narrative?
What narrative on mass shootings would you like to bring facts to?
You must be in the “pissed off” group that is alluded to at the end of the quote.
Are you mad that murder rates are dropping? -
The number of whites killing blacks was less than half of blacks killing whites. However, both categories declined considerably, a positive sign.
White privilege.

Mike, ignore this dumb motherfucker. He is the lowest of the low.2001400ex said:
Ok Mike. Let's start here. What was your point for posting this article. Articulate in your words your thought process.MikeDamone said:
You seem upset that you can’t figure it out. Or are you just mad something is presenting facts that don’t fit your narrative. The narratives ignored are in the article. (Which you didn’t read, obviously. Because that’s hard) If you disagree, articulate it. Rather than being an angry dipshit, as usual. I’m not squashing anything. I didn’t write the article or the post in quotes.2001400ex said:
You said when facts don't fit the narrative. Facts get ignored. You must be squashing some narrative then.MikeDamone said:

The info you provided was fascinating and a good read. THX -
The numbers actually look worse when you take into account that whites still make up over 60% of the population and blacks are only 13%. And for purposes of crime statistics Hispanics killing blacks are often tabulated as whites killing blacks.MikeDamone said:

Secondly. Yes mass shooting stats are left out of your "non partisan" analysis.
Yet you still can't articulate your point. Nice work man!! -

Just like it was "racist" to accurately say that Affirmative Action discriminates against whites and Asians based upon skin color. -
You can’t explain why mass shootings aren’t “part of the narrative” is pertinent since all homiacides are included. Can’t you read? I have no idea why your vag is sandy about mass shootings. It’s your strawman. You tell me.2001400ex said:

Pove it.2001400ex said:
That's a lie. Idiot.Sledog said:
Surprised a liberal/commie like you hasn't proposed that. After all blacks make up 13% of the population and commit more than 50% of the violent crime in out country so why haven't you called for a ban on them? All long guns are usually about 3% of the murders and misnamed "assault weapons" comprise only a fraction of that yet you want them banned. Why aren't you red's applying that logic in other places? Like the fact most mass shooters are democrats. We need a ban on democrats!2001400ex said:
I came back expecting something dumb from you like "we should ban knives, blunt objects, and black people". Realized you actually have something more idiotic to say about the topic.Sledog said:
Rifles/long guns are ALWAYS a tiny percentage of murders. It's hard to put an AR in your pocket or waistband.MikeDamone said:The facts are ignored.

And yes the number of mass shootings is relevant. I'll type slowly Mike so maybe you'll understand. There's a huge difference in two criminals shooting each other and someone opening fire in an unsuspecting crowd.
But keep up your "non partisan" narrative that Trump is good for murders. -
And how do you know that those numbers don’t include mass shooting murders Hondo?2001400ex said:
