Well ruth gives us a 89% chance of landing him. I'm now rooting for him not to commit so that becomes a new "81%"

    Bump.

EDIT: Damn you Meek, beat me by 3 minutes

I like Shipley, and we definitely should have gotten him too, but if this was the trade-off to get Rosengarten it ain't half bad.

And let's be honest, was he ever not doing to Oregon with this profile picture?

    Dodged one here IMO.

You’re a fag... but right. Nothing impressed in this kids film. Save that spot.

The all green does look cool with the receding hair line though.

Lol at Oregon trying to bury Rosengarten's commitment with a couple of 3-star commitments of their own. You know they are timing that shit up on purpose. Shipley's a good pickup for them. He plays hard and physical. Could have been a nice long term rotational player for us. But he ain't shit compared to the D-lineman we already got last class. They ain't drowning out that L they took for Rosengarten no matter how hard they try!

The 3-tech version of Greg Gaines. Wouldn't be a super sexy pick up, but he could become a good player and fan favorite for his physicality, effort, and grittiness. He even wears #99 like Gaines. Too bad for him Bandes has #99 locked up for a while. But he could wear #90 and get the Empterman comparisons if he develops into an All-Conference player.

I wonder if he was told to hold off on committing to UW.

Nothing I said screams he's elite. He's a gritty try hard white guy I was trying to rationalize as a UW recruit even though he's a step down in talent from what we got last class. Could have been good with the aide of UW's player development. Now, he'll be another JAG D-lineman for Oregon.

This certainly helps considering the DL class out west.

“I’m not going to rush into anything” ...

Going back to my earlier comments there’s a massive difference between UW and Oregon in their pitches and players that are attracted to each

Obviously he identifies more with Oregon ... so good for him. Probably a better fit there then.

Trey Benson and his mom we’re praying together at the 50 yard line in one of the photo ops. Personally, I like my DL a bit edgy.

Bottom line is Shipley probably sees an easier path at Oregon. It’s probably that over personality.

I was meh on this kid. Coaches know more than me but I'm not super bummed about it. I would rather get RR of the two

No he didn’t he said he’s taking OVs and he’s said before he’s taking an OV here. Bama nor OSU would even take this kid. They are just trying to make UW and OU use more resources on him.
