Well, that certainly explains things. Unfortunate situation.DerekJohnson said:
I used to deal with a woman rep until somebody on HH wrote a post demanding she expose her breasts. I received a call from the president of Vanilla saying that he believes in free speech but that his employee was very upset and he can't allow that kind of thing to occur. I agreed with him and assured him that the situation would be taken care of.Doog_de_Jour said:You’re being very patient with them Derek. I probably would’ve handled the situation differently.
Just out of curiosity, do you deal with the same point of contact, or they passing you from one lackey to another?
Soon after I was assigned a male rep. Overall he has been very good. But the Chincredle crisis from last year led to some back and forth arguments between him and I. If I recall correctly, things only got resolved when I contacted the president and explained how I felt the rep and devs were dragging their feet with us.
While that situation got resolved, it led to heightened tensions between me and the rep and devs. Which is why I'm getting nonsense responses now, I believe.
How difficult would it be to switch platforms? Is it worth it? -

Why do you need to pick your battles? If they provide bad service and view their paying customers as a pest, it's probably time to move on. No battle necessary. Just tell them to fuck off and take your bidness elsewhere.DerekJohnson said:I would like to express my frustration more on this issue, but I need to pick my battles. Their rep made it clear that Vanilla views me and Hardcore Husky as pains in their ass.

You mean devs and their parents read these boards?

And the rep and his 2 dads also.MikeDamone said:You mean devs and their parents read these boards?

Thank you PurpleJ, aka Mr Scorched Earth. Worried about u.
After some thought I've decided we're going to stay the course, thousand points of light. First off, in 2014 I switched us over to a network run by a friend of VolcanoDawg. It only cost about $75 a month. It was well intended, but an absolute disaster. A clusterfuck with lots of glitches. Plus, I disliked the forum and missed Vanilla. So the grass wasn't greener on the other side of the fence in that instance.
Second, I've got a lot going on, including my new book which will be released in August. The last thing I need right now is chaos stemming from HH moving to a new home.
At the end of the year, I'll ask what the BOD and guys like Swaye and Grundle think and maybe throw up a Gladstone-inspired poll to see what the degenerate masses think. And I'll take stock of my own thoughts about Vanilla and see what changes, if any, that we should make for 2020.
Good day sir.
I said GOOD DAY. -
We should also ask what Baze thinks whether we care or not. To stay on the good side of Hezbollah. I don't have easy access anymore to an F-18 with JDAMs to bail us out of any trouble with them.DerekJohnson said:Thank you PurpleJ, aka Mr Scorched Earth. Worried about u.

Yes, and I forgot Race Bannon's name too and he is an institution here. Lots of valued unemployed losers on HH..Swaye said:

Might like you one minute and hate you the next. Although, Hezbollah does empathize with plight of injuns.
