I know you are being sarcastic but I would draft Thybulle over Nowell... And then hope I can teach Thybulle to stand and shoot the corner 3 in the next 2 years.

A legitimate, long, elite defender who can guard 1-3 coming off the bench as a specialist should have appeal.

Justin Holiday is still kicking around the NBA somehow.

I suspect he will move up from those rankings ... but it’s looking to be a stretch to be guaranteed as a 1st rounder

If that is the case, then the right move is to go back to school

Also, what’s the latest on Anthony Lamb or any other potential (grad) transfer? I saw SDST had a Guard from WA that was thinking about transferring avg 19 PPG (not as a grad transfer though).

    He’s coming back...

    Not hiring an agent?

This would be a huge and unexpected development.

He can hire and agent and still end up returning to school so long as he participates in the NBA combine.

I don't know if I read this here, or somewhere else, but I thought that McDaniels wasn't coming to UW if Nowell was still here?

Again that’s the dumbest fucking thing I have ever heard. Great players want to play with great players.
    @RhythmicSlappingDawg prediction to uw?

Put my crystal dong in right now. Where else is going to go? He’s not going to Kentucky, Texas (Shaka sucks), UCLA doesn’t even have a coach and his brother at SDSU is going to the league.

Good God. Fucking HONDO posted that bullshit.

Even if this were true why would you want to replace the conference player of the year for a 19 year old with a high ceiling?

More that I’ve I thought of it. I’d rather have McDaniels over Nowell. He’s a 6”11 combo guard basically. I’ll probably get some heat for it but still.

Unless McDaniels is a for sure generational talent ala Zion, John Wall, Kevin Durant (he's not) there is NO WAY you should take him over the reigning conference player of the year.
    He’ll average at least 18, 7 and 5.

With his size and length he can be a monster on defense too. He can just do more.

Unless McDaniels is aiming at playing sg I have no clue what the two have to do with each other.

Honestly, if McDaniels expects to be one and done you think we'd have a BETTER chance of getting McDaniels if nowell is here, better chance at more televised games

Right, I meant nationally televised, but in retrospect it still probably doesn't mean much to him if he has sdsu in his top 4

And as long as they aren't at the same position, I fully agree with you

Literally all of our games are nationally televised except when they are on Larry Scott’s shit show and we didn’t have many of those.

Thybulle could be a solid bench player like what Al Faruque Aminu would be on a contender.

Nowell is simply overplaying his hand and will be in the G League in 2 years if he goes pro.

Fultz still went #1 overall despite almost all of our games being on the Beijing Network that year
