Right now Nowell isn't included in many mock drafts, even ones that are two full rounds. If he doesn't impress in workouts you'd think the decision would be to return. Thybulle on the other hand has seen his stock improve in recent weeks. A lot of mocks have him at the end of the first/early second. -

Hopefully there is someone in his life giving him a healthy dose of constructive reality, there just aren't enough people that believe in his game to warrant leaving early. He runs the high risk of going undrafted at this point and lacks the upside or alpha mentality to command playing time/opportunities in the NBA as a free agent or late 2nd round draft pick.WeakarmCobra said:Not sure he getting drafted, so hopefully he has success in Europe
there is no shame in returning after thinking you are ready to go pro and finding out the market might think you are not.
That being said; He was fucking 100% gone the second he won Pac12 POY, if not before. -

That being said, the 1st round is going to be a reach and I do suspect that he’s going to be a 2nd rounder developing in the G league making so-so money.
Perhaps it is just me, but I definitely view staying in school as a superior option to the G league
