I think we'll get a visit. Jimmy Lake is going to have to fight a major uphill battle on this one though.

I’m not saying anything about TCU but Texas coming back to the top has as much to do with a lot of schools going backwards (Baylor and Tech, TCU may be as well) as anything that they are doing

If you want to consistently get these types of kids, you have to be seen as competitive with a Ferrari on some level.

It's just so frustrating. This is your LIFE, your CAREER! Now is not the time to be fucking around on hope and wishes. Straight dope: Texas's cornerbacks coach has coached DBs/CBs for 14 years. In that time, he's coached something like 4 NFL draft picks, just one in the 1st or 2nd round. Jimmy Lake's been coaching DBs for 13 years. 7 NFL draft picks, 4 in the 1st or 2nd round. You guys seem to forget that all of these parents babies are automatically going to be the #1 overall pick of the draft and sign a contract of 4 years for $500 million dollars out of college. It doesn’t matter where they go none of them will need an education.
