A lot of kids I talk to fucking hate the idea of big government and independence on the government. A couple of my buddies come from terrible socioeconomic backgrounds and absolute despise social welfare programs. Their mothers worked from 9-11 every day. While kids parents at their school would leach off the system.
Even the lefties here aren’t very far left. I’d consider them reasonable democrats and borderline centrist. A lot of other kids I’ve talked to are truly in the middle. They like ideas from both parties. In general I came to this school thinking it’d be hardcore liberal but it is way more conservative than I originally thought. Even though the school pushes liberal crap down our throats. We are forced to take at least one social justice class and there’s a group of students forming in the class I’m in that challenge the professor’s fucking stupid rhetoric. A lot of kids see the way the left is going. It’s going way too far left for them. It’s honestly ridiculous our generation has had this PC crap shoved down our throats and kid’s have gotten sick of it. -

I’ve taken two poly science course hardcore liberal professors. Programs and speakers the school brings in: hardcore liberal.
Math professor talks about politics half of the time during his lectures: hardcore liberal.
