No love for Frederick and Nelson's? There was one at almost every mall, back in the day.
Used to get my Boy Scout stuff at Aurora Village. Now you have to drive down Rainier Ave - scary - to get your scarves and shorts. -
One other thing I miss is the chunk of the Monorail by the old Nordstrom building, across Pine Street, that had the big platforms and the asphalt triangle underneath where pretzel & hot dog vendors set up alongside musicians and street performers. We still have the monorail, but it's about 200 feet shorter now than it used to be, and everything in Westlake Park sucks.
