Coworker who went to Sheldon with Herbert and doesn't give a shit about sports, "When Washington comes here, it's a bigger deal than any other team or game I can remember, and I've lived here my whole life. I wouldn't recommend coming to the game this year or if you do don't come with the purple plates.
It's not really a big deal when Oregon State comes here."
Science is settled.
It used to be a big deal.

As predicted by yours truly. Great team. Ranked No. 1 and rolled Oregon at Autzen, 24-3, early in the season.46XiJCAB said:
1/2 Natty.BleachedAnusDawg said:It's hilarious to see how many Quooks still spaz out, 31 years later, over the fact that UW has natty and they don't. "But we almost beat Auburn!" Congrats on your 3-year run of "almost!"
Oregon lost their chance on the field, twice. Not at the ballot box.
UW run was really 2 1/2 years. The 92' team shit the bed by years end.
Couldn’t handle Drew Bledsoe, the blizzard and a little adversity at the Palouse. -

The 80’s and 90’s were awesome when the Huskies visited Autzen.
Remember?
Does your co-worker who went to Sheldon? -
You can combine you, 46X, and thesnatch and almost make half a 12. Almost.trublue said:The 80’s and 90’s were awesome.

Since you predicted a Husky win at Autzen Stadium this year, I may have to visit Autzen to witness Jack Browning, Part II.

That was definitely the case 20 years ago, and it’s still treated as a big game because of the regional rivalry.haie said:LOL.

Now it’s really about USC….then Stanford or UW.

Both schools get up for SC because they barely ever come here anymore.thechatch said:

Utah and Colorado got a helluva deal when they joined the PAC-10.
They were put in the newly created Southern Division, which meant they got to play UCLA and USC every year. Great for recruiting SoCal. -
Thank you for that nugget.trublue said:Utah and Colorado got a helluva deal when they joined the PAC-10.
