UCLA always loses to Cal

Was recently talking to @JoeEDangerously about one of the things that happened around the beginning of the collapse of true college football was every program behaving as if they were competing to win a national championship and now a lot of those programs are in crippling debt. Remember when it was okay for Oregon State to win 1-2 games for like forever?

I believe I had this first
USC being private can do what it wants
Ucla not so much
Looks like USC and Stanford
We get Cal and the Bruins -
That would make us ND's partner, allegedly. Or is Stanford their partner and we're SC's?RaceBannon said:I believe I had this first

The admin and Jen will mess it up.Mad_Son said:

I guess if Ucla had to be replaced but sounds like the B1G could be happy with three instead of 4Mad_Son said:

Bring in Pete with the deal ready to close only to watch Oregon grasp control and get the last invite. It would be nostalgic for everyone.RaceBannon said:

And there’s a good chance that BSU ends up in the PAC. They and SD St. should be extended a chinvite yesterday imo. That is if the Pac??? is serious about existing anyway. Despite this so called loyalty of Yoot. They will bail as soon as the other remaining South teams do. Which will no doubt be after this Season for 2024. Cals challenge of UCLA leaving won’t stop them.whatshouldicareabout said:

You have to let go of the Academis Man. The Big 10 didn’t gaf that UCLA and USC were AAC schools. They cared about their location.haie said:

There’s 2 distinct cultures in the remaining PAC. The Coastal schools sans Oregon St and the rest of the conference. It’s why the Rest of the P12 South will be peacing out for the B12. More money, less travel and a match with a conference that looks like them.
Once you realize this, like I have, the sooner you move on to realistic next moves.
