Someone got smart and is slow-walking the Freeport LNG repairs to keep natural gas in the US and drop the price of it here (and from that electricity prices). REALLY screws over Germany and the rest of Europe though…think it’s actually pretty smart. Amazed that they are doing it.

It's more likely that it's just another sign of incompetence. The entire Admin is so focused on their woke ESG bullshit that they don't realize that they need to have alternatives in place.
Let the market work. We could ban all kinds of exports to the world, like wheat, chicken, pork, beef, soybeans etc. and just drive the price down and put Americans out of work. The answer is more US natural gas production and pipeline construction and LNG export facilities. That is the winning answer for both US consumers, US workers and cheaper LNG to Europe and Asia. The temporary drop in US natural gas prices would be just that. Temporary as producers lost their profit motive. Remember the great success with oil and gas price controls and the excess oil profit tax? All ended by Reagan and it seemed to work out pretty well until barry and the dementia patient phucked it up.
US Natural Gas now under $6.
Germany Natural Gas over $27. That's what I would call a target rich environment.
TTF (European gas) is now over $40/mmbtu. They are truly screwed, esp if Russia doesn’t come back up after their maintenance. There is a reason the govts inEurope are talking about rationing gas usage.
Natural gas here was heading over $10/mmbtu…now it’s under $6. The winter balances were looking ugly, and with Freeport LNG now down the balances are getting almost normal.

Chicoms and the Cho Bai Den administration on the same page with destroying our energy industry and economy. America First is definitely racist. Glad to see our leftards playing for the away team.
We're looking into Brazil now for some manufacturing. We were actually looking at some us stuff but they are all a joke and it's all illegals. Don't want to go down that hole

My brother was contracting as an engineer on a micro wire manufacturing facility in Tualatin (stuff goes into cell phones, pacemakers etc). The whole manufacturing crew was Vietnamese. Most spoke decent English, second generation, but a lot were still speaking only Vietnamese.

Yeah it's not easy. Problem is for our next big product our contract manufacturer for China has shown his hand and is like if the volume is not what I want I'm gonna rip your ass off and just do it myself and sell it for half the price. Like lol what a joke.
But that's the bed we made with china haha
It's why everyone is trying to diversify away but the infrastructure just isn't there pretty much anywhere else
