The real problem with school shootings.

Let's see. A cross dressing kid who's parents let him drink their booze and post photos of this while doing it. He purchases two weapons at 18 after having spent a number of years posting psycho shit on social media. He plays with the guns at home and is posting photos of them on his social media accounts, pretty big red flag right there. His social media accounts are alarming to some but they never report him or speak to authorities or his parents. If his parents did hear about it they clearly did nothing.

There is one common thread to 90% of these shootings: Lack of parental involvement/supervision. Poor parenting.

We have to hold parents accountable. If you have no idea what your kid is doing, its your ass. There is no other solution that works. You can load up the school with security but we already know that doesn't work. You can take away guns from law abiding citizens but we know that doesn't work either, it just emboldens the bad guys.

We have to get back to a society where there are minimum expectations of everyone regardless of your role or station in life.

    Completely disagree.

Generally these perpetrators are cowards. They go after soft targets.

The one notable exception might be the Ft Hood shootings - but even still that dude attacked a medical facility on the base ....

I’m will be more surprised if America survives for the remainder of my life than if it ends before I do.

    This.

The current ruling class seems hell-bent on making this a reality.

It's the adage that when all "mistakes" fall one direction, they probably aren't mistakes.

The directives have been so antithetical to a free society, distraction is the only logical conclusion.

Make no mistake, to this end, they are coming for your guns next.

Not sure the point you are making. It sounds like we agree.

Chicago has some of the toughest gun laws in the country. They are a miserable failure.

Convince me otherwise -but dude is posting pics of his crazy ass self on social media posing with weapons, had to be on the radar of the FBI, ATF, etc.

But thank god they are chasing down buffalo shamans.

The Buffalo shooter stated he went where he did because he knew the gun laws there were tight and it was much less likely someone in the store would be carrying.

You are correct. I misread what you said.

That Texas shooting is almost too much to mentally process
    horrific
  • pawzpawz Member, Moderator, Swaye's Wigwam Posts: 21,267 Founders Club

2012 Sandy Hook. Obama is president facing reelection

2022 Texas. Biden is president with historical low approval and midterms looming.

Are we? sure the GOP is the problem? The bullshit coming from the democrats is abhorrent

Just outlaw guns and get it over with you pussies.

Or shut the fuck up and let's do something about how we've fucked up our kids

It's such an abhorrent thing to say, but with the convenient timing of it all, it's hard to shake the idea there isn't a more sinister plot being carried out.

I recall there was a retarded kid in Oklahoma a few years back to was effectively being groomed by the FBI to do something crazy. I don't remember the details, but in that case the kid had good parents who stood up and made a fuss about the FBI grooming their susceptible kid and the charged quickly went away.

Also a notorious 'conspiracy theorist' book - Behold a Pale Horse - had been published back in the 90s that alleged the CIA would orchestrate a bunch of school shootings with the end goal of disarming the populace.

Note that in the Buffalo shooting authorities effectively had forewarning and did nothing. Will be interesting to see as the background comes out on this white-messican in TX.

Entirely plausible something very sinister is taking place. There are tons of distracting topics currently to deflect from the WEF conference. You can connect the dots.

This also opens the door wider to more surveillance by the government so they can identify potential threats through various social media sites.

Most parents are so dumb about mobile phones and apps. Kids are savvy at hiding multiple accounts, parents don't how to access and navigate platforms such as Discord. These apps allow kids to learn about the most heinous shit in the world. Parents have no idea the impacts these apps have on kids. They think in terms of drugs and alcohol and don't realize these apps are the same. You could argue social media is worse.

Then we get to the democrat/woke/libs dominating every corner of the mainstream. They have turned the term trans into a designer term. Kids have no clue. Top surgery is celebrated. Mutilating one's body is looked upon as an achievement. Displaying scars for all to see is a badge of trans. This movement is so beyond sickening and now we will have to endure the entire month of June being bombarded by LGBTQIA+. This demonic stuff is infecting every corner of America. It is also cool for kids to dress like complete slobs and homeless people. It is cool to wear crocs and pajamas to school, with nasty hair. I have a high school by my house and the kids come out looking like they have been either sleeping on the streets or haven't showered in a week. Hair in multi colors and all ratted out. People might compare it to the grunge look. But grunge and today's dress have completely different messaging. Okay, ya Kurt Cobain wore dresses but I will give a pass to a musical genius...haha. These kids will raise an even more fucked up generation.

The obsession with white supremacy and racism is so overt that if you buy into it you are dumber than rocks. Turning a shooting into a political opportunity is disgusting. Though, Biden skipped Wisconsin!! According to lying Psaki did not have enough resources to visit the whites run over by a red Ford. Never mind the driver!!!

To Damone's point, the destruction of society is real and deliberate. And it's clear it is supported by a segment of the political ruling class.

The shooting itself is beyond horrifying. Just sickening to the core. The dems will push useless gun control. Get to the root of this.

It's sad but this shit isn't surprising anymore. Parents are awful, can't go anywhere anymore without seeing some hopeless parents who's little demons are terrorizing some place and they don't even try to discipline them. Kids are treated like slow roasted turkeys now, just set it and forget it.

I am sick and tired of not dealing with the core issues. No one is responsible when it comes to core issues or the disastrous effects on society by not holding those responsible. Somehow all of us who are responsible for our decisions in life such as having children and raising them to be good adults, are at fault.

Its bullshit. You watch assholes like Steve Kerr lecture the world about legislation, that will undoubtedly do little to stop bad people, while never mentioning core issues is just too much to hear from the feelings based liberals.

Being an irresponsible bad parent should be shamed as much as one who mistreats animals but it is not. Kick a dog in public and the crowd will come down on you. Be a sperm donor who has nothing to do with their children, have 4 kids from 4 different sperm donors and let them run wild or raise a murderer and no one says a fucking word.

Social media teams are laser focused on people they disagree with politically, banning Conservatives left and right but a psycho kid posts photos of him and guns? No problem, post away.

    Fuckers.

Really interesting that someone downvoted this. They must like it when kids get gunned down. Sad.

I have an even better idea. Fire every Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion drone you've hired in the past 10 years and use the money you paid them for security at the schools. You could also rescind the decision to kick the cops out of the schools that all came down after a career criminal who was high on fentanyl died in police custody.

If you are a complete idiot parent whose first belief is that there kid can do nothing wrong, then sure, it's easy to pull the wool over the parent's eyes. The Thurston high school shooter in Eugene, had two idiot parents who were teacher's bought their mentally ill son the gun he used to shoot up the high school. They had him on meds and then took him off the meds because he was doing so well. Fortunately, the first two kids that Kinkel killed were his parents.

The Columbine parents also bought guns for their kids and then had no idea they were building pipe bombs even though they discovered they were making pipe bombs. Then assumed it had ended. When the kids at high school knew who the crazies are, maybe the school and parents might want to do something, like expel them and the parents might want to lock up all the guns.

    Sometimes, it's:

The silicon chip inside her head
    Gets switched to overload
And nobody's gonna go to school today
She's gonna make them stay at home
    And daddy doesn't understand it
He always said she was good as gold
And he can see no reasons
    'Cause there are no reasons
What reason do you need to be shown?

    I don't like Mondays
    (Tell me why)
    I don't like Mondays
    (Tell me why)
    I don't like Mondays
I wanna shoot the whole day down
