Looks like the good guys came out to vote on this one.
I was pretty torn here. I wanted to go with Ram Jam, but All Right Now is just too much of the perfect song for its moment in time.
I don't care if it's cliche and ruined by overplay. It basically spawned an entire style of radio friendly, catchy hard rock in a way that Zep, Cream, Sabbath had never attempted.
I'm a retard and can't figure out if I got the quote function to work, but I agree on All Right Now. However, to me it seems like it's just Bad Company's first hit. But take that for what it's worth because I went through a Paul Rodgers phase and have all of the original Bad Co albums as well as Willie and the Poor Boys and The Firm's two albums.
The funny things about the Bad Company comparison, is that All Right Now came out 4 years before Bad Company.
Had to go with Head East. Synchs up with my earliest and fondest memories of smoking weed -- back when you had to smoke quite a bit to get stoned. (Not the kind that feels more like a bad trip down paranoia avenue. "Did I just piss my pants?" "Am I still breathing?" "Are you supposed to feel your heart beat in your toes?")

Keep working at it. The anxiety is easily forgotten. Just look at your signature GIF for a minute.

Technically, The Knack had two hits and this one is better. Should be the HH theme song.
And it's a teenage sadness
Everyone has got to taste
An in-between age madness
That you know you can't erase
Till she's sitting on your face
