I'm hearing that the Mariners are winning 85-90 games this year.

I'm all for playing the game of hockey hard ...
I'm all for getting under the skin of the other team ... I embrace players like Esa Tikkanen, Claude Lemeiux, Steve Ott, et al for their ability to influence a hockey game whether they were scoring goals or not.
I have no time for pussy ass bitches like Corey Perry that like to act tough by taking cheap shots but then run whenever someone that can kick his ass comes around to make him own up for his actions.
Perry didn't know that Roussel can drop the gloves and throw them ... he got his ass handed to him as a result. -
The tequila jinx is alive and well. 6-2 ducks.

I respect hockey and wish I would have played it as a kid, but it's really fucking boring. How do you guys enjoy it? It's right up there with baseball and soccer.

I can understand not liking soccer or baseball. Not everyone's cup of tea. But hockey? Come on man! Its the coolest sport on ice!RoadDawg55 said:I respect hockey and wish I would have played it as a kid, but it's really fucking boring. How do you guys enjoy it? Congrats to Boobs' Winterhawks winning the WHL Western Conference crown

Good to see that even when I'm right I'm wrong ...
Kings started playing defense ... San Jose crumbled.
Definitely didn't see Minnesota winning that series ... Colorado is young and will be good for a while. They'll figure it out going forward.
Would have loved to have seen a game 7 in the Dallas-Ducks series ... the Ducks would have had awfully tight sphincters.
6 for 8 ain't too bad ... it's almost 81%. -
This team does not suck. The rebuild is ahead of schedule.haie said:water is wet, and the sharks are for real. For all the talk a couple years ago about how their cupboard was bare and their window had closed, their young homegrown guys have been awesome and the older vets are playing like this is their year.
I think the Mariners win 85-90 games this year and 3-5 games above .500 after April. -
Everybody has talked about the Canucks getting blown up (and rightfully so) ...
Don't be shocked if San Jose isn't blown up at this point ... could be interesting to watch. -
No they haven't. No one cares about hockey.Tequilla said:Everybody has talked about the Canucks getting blown up (and rightfully so) ...

I'll care when Seattle gets a team, though. It's fun to watch. -
Sorry, everybody in the hockey community ...
Thank you offseason hockey superiority guy -

I think the Avs lose to Chicago regardless, but at least it was a good learning experience. They really need more quality defensemen to compete for the title.Tequilla said:Definitely didn't see Minnesota winning that series ... Colorado is young and will be good for a while. Most important thing for young teams is getting into the playoffs and getting as much experience as possible. It's such a different game than the regular season and learning what you can/can't get away with is a huge part of playoff hockey.
The good news for the Avs is that they have a lot of talent ... they could very easily turn some of that talent around into high end defensive player if they see fit. -
PGOS is doing his part to confirm Seattle's pussified status in this thread.
-
I'm calling a Penguins/Blackhawks final.

Boston got embarrassed in a 0-3 comeback by the flyers and still won a cup a few years later (maybe even the next year). Sharks lost to the cup champions from 2 years ago. whatever.Tequilla said:Everybody has talked about the Canucks getting blown up (and rightfully so) ...
