I never call for anybody's firing, just like I never bash the kids. They have families. But IF you post something positive about another Pac-12 school on social media or are outdoors wearing the gear of another school, including your alma mater on a fucking reunion weekend, you should be fired. Period. It's the n-word of fashion mistakes; just don't do it. When you wear any clothing with any logo, you are -- consciously or not -- promoting that brand. You wear anything with "Oregon" on it, even if it's a dusty old sweatshirt and you're just running to the store for milk, you are promoting Oregon over Washington. Period.
Couldn't agree more. It was some pic I saw of her in duck colors, with a comment that went something like "once a duck...", that kind of triggered me today. I see that as cause, and Cohen failing to act on it constitutes cause for her ass too.
Karen seriously is begging to be fired with all of this shit and there is something wrong with a UW athletic department that does nothing about an employee publicly humiliating the company they work for. When is Jen going to do something to unfuck her mistake.
WTF kind of accomplishment is " helping launch" a tik tok account?
I could get on my soapbox about the next generation of fans and recruiting and broadcast rights on digital and experimenting etc etc etc but I will spare you all this lovely Thursday morning
I had to double check and look because I was confused why she was involved with social media at all, but she’s actually the director of digital AND NIL strategy. With her background, she is qualified for the digital aspect and that’s what she seems to be focusing on. The NIL strategy piece needs to be at least one, full-time dedicated FTE (with a team of 3-4 under them). So as much hate as ramming has got, this is really on Jen for cheaping out and hiring one person for two roles (where she is only qualified for one).

I I I. This shit is the trend now in advertising. The old establishment is so clueless and terrified of not being social media adroit. Any kid who is too stupid to be humble can come in and with a little bit of jargon get themselves into a six-figure job. Now that same humorless asshole is repeating buzzwords and promoting Karen Ramming in the same social media space that she should actually be promoting the UW. Jen won't know the difference.

Everything that has happened indicates financial issues at UW for the program. From the coaching staff to the support
That in itself doesn't mean that these lower cost coaches can't produce and become high income winners. It does make one wonder how long after that they would stay
I guess if we get to the point where we worry about keeping them then they did their job

The old saying in the car biz is if you sell Chevrolets, don't drive a Ford.

Step 2: ???
Step 3: Funnel millions of dollars to prospective recruits to bring our? football team back to relevancy
I don’t see what all of the complaining is about. We’re on exactly the right path.

Jen is in good company.
