I like that tall kid. If numbers aren't an issue take a chance.bananasnblondes said:2 new WR crystal dongs.
Huffman with a 7 inches for Treshaun Lyons, who just visited, and is a fucking stud
The other one is kind of odd. It's for Beni Ngoyi who is 6'4" but a project. He visited a few weeks ago but not much was said about his visit. Iowa State had 3 dongs for him but then an Iowa State site guy put one in for UW. Maybe Iowa State dropped him and the guy figured he'd probably take the UW offer -
Numbers should never be an issue. Over-recruit and portal the kids who won't see playing time.chuck said:

More CBs for Ngoyi. Hopefully we can take both he and Lyons. Ngoyi is a super tall freak athlete but I can't help but get Ty Jones flashbacks

I think he's a wee bit more athletic than Ty.bananasnblondes said:More CBs for Ngoyi. Hopefully we can take both he and Lyons. Ngoyi is a super tall freak athlete but I can't help but get Ty Jones flashbacks
10-10 broad jump, 42 inch vert, and a 4.3-4.4 40. He's pretty linear though, his COD isn't very good. But he's 6"4 with crazy explosive traits, get him to around 225 and he's going to be a disgusting vertical threat/in breaking route runner where he can transfer his momentum smoothly. -

Looks like our WR class is going to be:
Rashid Williams - 90 on 247
Taeshaun Lyons - 89
Beni Ngoyi - 86
Keith Reynolds - 84
One of the national 247 analysts said Ngoyi is going to get a bump in his rating soon. That's a solid haul for Shephard's first class here and hopefully this is the floor for what he can do at UW. -
For sure. If you're big and can go vertical and you're not a pussy, you don't need to be the human pinball. Ty Jones was not this athletic, and he was a huge pussy.backthepack said:

We haven't had much luck with bigger WRs since Reggie
Craig Chambers - lazy, never reached his potential
Kasen Williams - Foot injury ruined his career
String - Punched some 12 and sold his couch
Darrell Daniels - Stone hands and converted to TE
Lenius - Huge pussy
Jones - Huge pussy -
String had a good career at Ole Miss

Huffman with an 8 incher for Landen Hatchett to UW
Expect a woof soon, he just committed -
4.3. Lol. There are maybe a handful of prospects in any given year that run a legit sub 4.4. Unless you think all these guys get slower with 3-4 years of professional S&C ahead of the combinebackthepack said:

But that doesn't matter. Reported 40 times for prospects rarely translate well to draftee 40 times. It's all relative, and even at that it's inconsistent. Everyone knows that.
He is tall and fast and can jump. I'll be happy if he goes to UW. -
Ektard saying that a kid is going out of state is his way of giving an 3"er.bananasnblondes said:

Michigan State: "Michigan State was a no-brainer for me. They have been one way in their relationship with me, being constantly relevant in trying to bring top talent like myself in Coach Tuck’s (Mel Tucker) program."
Oregon: "The Ducks made an immediate impact the first time I went to Eugene. I got in the loop with some of the players early as I continued to build my relationship with coach (Dan) Lanning."
Texas A&M: "Coach (T.J.) Rushing is one enthusiastic individual when it comes to playing ball. He doesn’t waste time in his DB room he likes to get to the point."
UCLA: "I got the most genuine vibe from the coaches, especially coach (Brian) Norwood. Being that we’re both Filipino, we already had something in common."
Washington: "They have been key on building the Jordan class and they want all in state talent to stay home. Coach (Kalen) DeBoer and coach Juice (Brown) made my family feel so special when they were wearing purple ribbons to honor my mom and that’s a gesture I won’t ever forget."
Interesting -
Don't get your hopes up. He's all Duck.
Wagoner's top 4 drops in about 45 minutes. 81% chance we don't make the cut so it's a double whiff on the in state blue chip corners. -
-
Guess the only instate kids we're getting are Hatchett and Lane.

The in-state stuff at this point is borderline laughable

The doog narrative on DM and Discord are it's Jimmy's fault for poisoning the relationships with the local schools and 7v7 programs. That could be partially true but I don't think KDB should be blameless in this shit show. They had a chance to go suck off Tracy and Reggie before Lanning arrived in Eugene but instead they were throwing out hail mary offers to kids all over the country. I refuse to believe that if they had gotten all in on the local recruits that we'd be seeing this type of exodus. This is 3 years in a row where UW completely misses on the top in state talent.Tequilla said:The in-state stuff at this point is borderline laughable

Agree. How difficult is it to go meet with the guy for an afternoon or invite him in after getting hired. Yes, the guy is shady as fuck but the top recruits in the area do go through him so swallow your fucking pride for a day instead of doing irreparable damage to your in-state recruitinginsinceredawg said:

Yeah they should have hired his brother or something to land these guys because that worked out so well.bananasnblondes said:

I can’t wait to boo the kids.

I also wonder how much of it is due to DeBoer and his staff not making Washington a priority at FSU and having more solid connections in CA, TX, and AZ. I wonder if they had to do more research on WA kids, watching film and talking with coaches, before feeling comfortable with extending an offer. That and they probably already had a number of offers out to CA and TX kids who they already started working on while at FSU.bananasnblondes said:

2024 class looks more normal right now with WA ahead of all other states besides CA. -

Lanning didn't even have to do that. All he did to win Tracy over was stroke his ego by visiting FSP and taking him to Joey's. I don't think KDB wanted to kiss the ring and this is the result. If Nick Saban can do the electric slide, Harbaugh can climb a tree, and Brian Kelly can do whatever the fuck he does on that spinning platform then the least KDB can do is kiss Tracy's ass for 5 minutes a month so he doesn't hold a vendetta.AtomicDawg said:
