    I think early in the week, possibly Monday. Matt turns down Washington this weekend, they move on to Kalen and negotiate a contract early in the week.
    At this point is it a foregone conclusion that Campbell turns us down?

    Well, usc boosters are the most delusional there are so I’m going to hold out hope for Campbell.

    If uw boosters want Campbell they will have to pony up.

    Don’t think this hire will have anything to do with what the average fan wants.

    Imo Campbell at 10 million would be stupid. If that’s the kind of money it would take. For instance.

    It absolutely would be stupid. He hasn't earned that. USC is going to overpay for him and that makes him at least as much of a gamble as DeBoer. Paying someone $10 million makes anything less than a playoff birth by year three a failure and there would already be people questioning the hire and lamenting the money commitment.

    I agree, only a coach like Luke Fickell would be worth that. Better to hire someone like DeBoer at $4 million and give him a big assistant budget.
