Was Jimmy just lazy?

Jimmy is a liar. Right after Donovan was hired Jimmy said that when talking with his NFL contacts, that they kept coming back to John Donovan. All conversations kept coming back to this guy. It smelled like bullshit then and is obvious bullshit now.

This is the big thing. Jimmy is a huge liar. He has surface charm but there's not a lot underneath. He's been straight up lying the whole time about a lot of things.TheGhost206 said:Jimmy is a liar. That was the dumbest hire Lake made to his staff and most likely the biggest factor that cost him his job over the long term. Thank UW TE coach Derham Cato who recommended Donovan to Lake.Pitchfork51 said:A dude who's pretty dialed in on the asu site said
Hiring Donovan was a sure path to getting fired as a hc
It's not Cato's fault Jimmy Lake was dumb enough to ask, let alone take his advice. -
This. He's made so many cringy comments that were obvious lies over his short tenure.Kingdome_Urinals said:

-ALL his NFL contacts were recommending John Donovan
-They conducted a national search for a DC before circling back to BG
-He gets texts from NFL GMs praising him for developing players right
CP or any head coach worth a damn would never make these bold statements. The sad thing was he's so delusional and arrogant that he thought ppl would believe his bullshit.

In hindsight, this sounds like NFL people wanted Jimmy to shut up and stop bothering them, so they gave him Donovan's name knowing Donovan would say yesTheGhost206 said:Jimmy is a liar. It’s his fault he recommended who he did. Not that he was hired. Too many words to say fire everyone and bleach the program.dnc said:

The NFL and the JAGS in particular wanted DonJon's ass out of the league. I think Jimmy got played, sold the bill of goods and in turn tried to sell that shit to us. -
Who in the NFL, outside of Jacksonville, would even know who Donovan is?NEsnake12 said:
