That's not what I said. There for sure is a component of supply and demand with oil and gas prices. But the speculative market changes the dynamic so it's much more complicated than purely supply of oil and miles driven. As I've shown, there's periods in time when supply was going up and so were prices. And periods of time when supply was flat as prices went up. Of course you'll find periods when demand went down as so did prices, like spring and summer of 20 with covid. State and local fuel taxes also figure heavily into the equation.
You guys also don't want to remember that domestic oil production sky rocketed during Obama.
