My overriding thought while reading was that I can never be a pro sports coach or run for public office. I've posted plenty on this website alone, in the past 24 hours alone, to be disqualified and I'm sure someone would track the shit down.

Some of you with higher goals in life than mine may want to consider that.

It sure seems odd that he would willingly walk away from that much money when he would almost certainly get 8 figures if he drew it out and settled. But it would also seem odd that a settled resignation would be negotiated so quickly, and by a team with well known cash flow issues.

So I don't know what the fuck is going on.

The dude is tireless, so I do think he'd have the right temperament for the recruiting game. But a common criticism of him in the NFL was that his scheme was way too complicated, and he had trouble dumbing it down for professionals. The stupidity of college kids would drive him over the edge.
