Why don’t you go after the offensive side of the ball first

They cycled Tafece, Heimuli, and Sirmon....seems kinda Jagy so far
-
Is this really the place for this?

I feel like Tafisi has played pretty well this season. He's always been a hitter, but it looks like he's been in the right gap at the right time diagnosing. And, of course, he actually has some sideline to sideline quickness and speed compared to the Lumbering Neck Roller.dannarc said:They cycled Tafece, Heimuli, and Sirmon....seems kinda Jagy so far

if Bob G would get off his lazy ass and spend some time "coaching up" Tafisi we might actually have the makings of an above-average ILB duo when Eddie U gets healthy.

By the way "Beno4Life" it's great to see another U2 fan on this site!Beno4Life said:

Loved when Beno and the boys automatically downloaded their new album to every iPhone and MacBook on the planet.
That shit was genius. -
I am increasingly getting the impression that Gregory has gotten lazy in recruiting. No ILB for the 2021 class (unless Will Latu happens to come back for 2022) and it's looking the same for 2022. I get that there are enough LBs now but one or two more could leave the team after the season.FireHisAssNOW said:

Bob Gregory is a wondering how he lost to Montana when his defense was on the field for 50 minutes and only gsve up 13

A lot of racial undertones when you use the L word. Clean it up out there guys.HFNY said:

Because they got marched on in the most crucial moments. Defense is not as bad as the offense potdPostGameOrangeSlices said:Bob Gregory is a wondering how he lost to Montana when his defense was on the field for 50 minutes and only gsve up 13

Wasn't he the player that caused the fumble to win the game?

His name was called but it what I saw wasn't clear. One play doesn't make up for being club footed and out of position the majority of the time though. If he could have made a simple tackle earlier when he had an rb pinned to the sideline but somehow whiffed then UW may not have needed that play at the end.alumni94 said:Wasn't he the player that caused the fumble to win the game?

In the pantheon of terrible LB play at the University of Washington, we've seen three of the worst the last three years...thanks, Bob!
Wellington > Lumbering Neck Roll Sirmon > Manure -

TYFYS. A GIF would be really fun too, as we can't see him hesitate here allowing the back to cruise right by, but the series of stills pretty much covers it.Sancho said: -
I’ve seen enough. Gulag for this try hard dipshit. I really wanted to like him if for no other reason than the neck guard. Old school… but he sucks ass.

Cal scores without Sirmons hit but Cam knocked the ball out.alumni94 said:Wasn't he the player that caused the fumble to win the game?

Thanks. I guess he didn't hesitate. He just misunderstood his angle, swerved inevitably upfield, then was so slow he barely got a hand in him. All this happened in a very small space. He really, really sucks. That play would've gotten a 12 year old benched.Canadawg said: -

Similar to the bizarre angle the safety took in the Montana game. Kam Fab or Cook?chuck said:

As obviously bad as this is, his positioning and technique defending runs up the middle is even worse. He doesn't even try, doesn't crouch or bend his knees, stands straight up on his heels and swings his arms around without even getting a shoulder or stiff-arm onto an opposing OL.chuck said:

Linebackers are supposed to crave contact, not avoid it at all costs. His technique is terrible. Fire the LB coach.
Punters and place-kickers are tougher than Sirmon right now. -
The more I seen this the more I wonder why this guy is even on the team. So bad. He doesn't deserve the neck rollCanadawg said: -
He had the freakin sideline! At least KamFab didn't have that advantage on the play against Michigan. That was a way faster back too. Way more difficult play that he still needs to make.BeerThirty said:

That angle is fucking atrocious.
