AOC’s ‘Tax the Rich’ dress designer is a tax deadbeat

Yet she has none of my money.SFGbob said:AOC's entire act is a grift. From going by Sandy Cortez nearly her entire life to then running as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in order to give herself a more ethnic flavor is a grift. Lying about growing up poor when she really live in a wealthy suburb and attended a private college is a grift. Staging photo Ops where she pretends to be crying uncontrollably over the treatment of illegals while she is really staring out at a parking lot is a grift. She is grifting you and every dumb shit like you and Kobe all the time.
Quite the swindle! -
Socialism is when people in the suburbs aren’t working class.

It's not clear who is less informed about tax and economic policy between you, hh, and AOC, but all three of you are clueless.TheKobeStopper said:

You really believe that, that's funny. Wake me up when she passes any legislation that actually does that. Meanwhile, keep wasting your money that you send to her.TheKobeStopper said:I’ve asked multiple times for anyone to explain how exactly her actions were hypocritical. No answer.
AOC wants to tax the rich when she’s in the Bronx. She wants to tax the rich when she’s in DC. She wants to tax the rich when she’s delivering water to Texans. She wants to tax the rich when she’s in congress. And she wants to tax the rich when she’s at the Met Gala.
She hasn’t moved.
The single most important thing AOC can do right now is make sure people are always talking about it. 6 pages. Job done.
Let's start with her degree in economics from a private university. No job offers from KMPG, Deloitte, PWC, maybe a smaller boutique firm? Strange.
What happened with her chance to tax Amazon and along with it, 25,000 jerbs for her constituents? Great work there.
Talking about something !=doing it. Jimmy Lake talks about UW winning championships, I guess that's good enough. Democrats are 'talking' about helping the blacks and the poor. That's good enough. Like I said, wake me up when this talk turns into something. -

Amazon announced that it would nevertheless expand operations in New York, adding 1,500 jobs and 335,000 square feet of office space. Hmm, that seems like less than 25,00. Is it?TheKobeStopper said:

Also, since you continue quoting the 25,000 number. That number was not contractual, it was a “pledge”. Nothing legally. So the deal was that they got the tax incentives and then could do whatever the fuck they wanted.
Someone pointed out how stupid this was and then Amazon decided to make a big stink about how they weren’t going to come to New York anymore. And then they spent the last 3 years opening Amazon locations across New York. Oops. -
Explain to me how a tax incentive that delivers incremental revenue to a municipality vs delivering nothing is a bad thing.

Someone could point out to you how AOC had nothing to do with any of the Amazon jobs that are referred to in this stupid article that you linked while embarrassing yourself. I'm sure you can find out how much input she had on the negotiations. She definitely got people talking about what a fucking idiot she is. Oops.TheKobeStopper said:

It’s funny, in one thread you guys will rail against evil marxist corporations. In the next you’ll argue city’s should suck Amazon’s dick to get their headquarters. In the next you’ll bitch about how shitty Seattle has become. Shit is wild.

If you can't retain, you replace. With automation and technology. I just did it today, in fact. Fuck off - I'm not filling that seat with overpriced help. Hello new software and technology for the cost of a new hire. Outsource anything that the machines can't handle.TheKobeStopper said:
