Why? I'm not clear on why a close low-scoring game is a worse loss than a close high-scoring game.RedRocket said:

All that to say these aren't professional athletes they can come out hungover and unmotivated one weekend and then hungry and aggressive the next.
Lots of overreactions to one game- UW could easily beat Michigan this weekend.
They are probably still a terribly coached and managed team but the season isn't over.

- The offense under this "OC", if you wanna call him that, is an unmitigated disaster and seems to be regressing by the day
- Defense will be gassed due to the offense not moving the ball
- 1st road game for Lake, the QB, and this 2021 team in general, in the Big House
- Meechigan>UW for roster, coaching, and home field

What makes the loss to Montana pathetic is that the offensive stats against Montana almost entirely mirrored the offensive stats against Miami in 2001 ... a team on the short list of the best team of all time. Pretty sure Montana isn't going to be on that list. Also important to remember that that UW team was probably an above average team at best and you could start seeing the cracks in the armor that turned into 2002 and beyond ...RedRocket said:
