Saw on Twitter that Biden was able to do what Obama and Trump couldn't do. Get out

Its true. Obama was afraid to be the guy that lost Afghanistan. Trump would have been impeached. Again. For abandoning our allies in Afghanistan

Joe gets a pass. He's not Trump

    Nothing else matters

Hell. Obama said Afghanistan was the “real war” and we needed to increase troops there when he ran for office in 2008.

After he was elected, he announced when they would be withdrawn after it took him months to decide how many to add.
Heard that bullshit for 4 years from Owl and other idiots. Bush took his eye off the ball, the "real" WOT was in Afghanistan and once tough guy Obama got in there they were going to start kicking ass in the real war.

Why does the US need to care about Afghanistan? Let the Taliban run wild. It was always dumb and a lost cause.

Great heroin though, can’t wait for the prices to drop

I agree. Unfortunately, Obama doubled down on stupid in the 2008 election by calling the Afghanistan battlefield, the “real war” and increased troop deployments there.
Hey, he was running for President and didn't want to be tarred with the charge of being soft on terrorism. So he lied. It's not like his supporters cared.

A part of Obama and the Democratic Party’s position in 2008 was winning the “real war” in Afghanistan . . .

I think “good war” was the term being floated around. Not the dumb war in Iraq that Bush had. But the good one in Saudi Arabia Afghanistan where the 9/11 terrorist came from.
The "good" and "real" WOT not the "blood for oil" war Bush got us into. Bush took his eye off the ball!!!

    2-0 vs world super powers.

I think the USA is now Owen 13 since their back to back world war championships.

Imagine the press coverage if Trump was president during this withdrawal

It might be a little different

Of course no pushback on this:

“ The president went on to say that in the early 1970s, as the Vietnam War was grinding to a close, North Vietnam’s forces were far more powerful than the Taliban are today. “They’re not remotely comparable in terms of capability,” he said. “There’s going to be no circumstance when you’re going to see people being lifted off the roof of an embassy of the United States from Afghanistan.”

Not only does the press have their political bias that don't allow them to cover Biden critically, it's obvious that they know he is in steep mental decline so they're also pulling their punches for that reason as well. In what area of policy is Biden doing well? The Press should be on fire regarding the crap that's going on.

Also, notice how the people who voted for him don't even bother to defend him. This used to happen when Obama was in office as well. All they care about is that he isn't mean and he isn't orange. The fact that nearly everything is going to shit doesn't matter to them, or if it doesn't they certainly aren't going to say anything about it.
