Deontae Cooper on the difference between then, and now.
Interviewer: "What are some of the differences between him (new RB coach Bhonapha) and what you had previously?"
Cooper: "Little things. Details. Knowing your assignments before you go out there. Study up. We spend a lot of time in individual kind of...perfecting footwoork, pass protection...the little things that will make us better as a team..."

.... That's for fuddy duddies...
They obviously spent a lot of time working on the lawnmower, plus Sark was the best scout team QB in the nation!
Love all these player quotes just validates us basement dwellers.
My guess is a lot of practice time with Sark went towards implementing new plays for each opponent that the players wouldn't learn about until they hit the practice field. Sark liked to think his genius playcalling was how we could win tough games. Petersen and his coaches seem to be all about fundamentals and getting reps to perfect your craft. And to think some said they didn't want Petersen because they said he runs a gimmicky offense full of trick plays.
While like RD said Sark would adjust to his opponent every week. The fundamentals were non existent apparently which is a shock to nobody.
Can't wait to see him take top 5 recruiting classes and go 8-4 every year.
"Have to pass the entire first half on Arizona's 10th ranked pass defense."
"What about exploiting their 12th ranked run defense and keeping your own defense off the field a bit?"
"Huh?"
Also, FKG
Praying he can bring that level of preparation to Montlake, where recruiting talent isn't a problem.
Unlike the previous three shitheads Petersen actually has a successful track record. Hopefully this time it's different.
