Interviewer: "What are some of the differences between him (new RB coach Bhonapha) and what you had previously?"

Cooper: "Little things. Details. Knowing your assignments before you go out there. Study up. We spend a lot of time in individual kind of...perfecting footwoork, pass protection...the little things that will make us better as a team..."

Wait... knowing your assignments before you go out there?

KNOWING YOUR ASSIGNMENTS BEFORE YOU GO OUT THERE?

Seriously, what the fuck was the old coaching staff doing? Were they putting players in there that didn't know what was going on or what they were supposed to do?

I can imagine it's gametime and this occurs:
Cooper: "What am I supposed to do on this play?"
    Nansen: "I dunno."

I read that as the new coaches prep the players in advance vice teaching as they go. It sounds like this staff can maximize practice time by giving players their homework before practice.
