Victor Davis Hanson had a podcast a few weeks ago about this. He outlined how California went from an agricultural powerhouse to an incompetent state unable to provide for its own citizens. The blame lays at the feet of Silicon Valley running the state.

Yes, but they replaced it with reliable and dependable solar and wind power. It's why we now get non-stop PSAs from the state about not using energy between 4:00pm - 9:00pm. You know, the hours when most people are home. Try not to use energy during those hours.

Washington and Oregon both want the lower Snake dams gone.

Both states also believe they have an untapped revenue source by selling “Excess runoff” from the Columbia River.

Why can’t Idaho simply divert Idaho’s Excess water from the Snake River just before it flows into Oregon?

FIRST water delivered to California will be worth the most.

Greater Idaho won’t fund it itself
