My asshole friends picked that day for their wedding. Great friends with both the bride and groom... and the bride’s daughter is my daughter’s BFF (ILTSBFFIWILTD) so I’m kind of being forced to go.
I mean they left their spouses for each other, while I am too much of a bitch to leave Washington football.
I have been unsuccessful in lobbying for a date change. VaTech fans suck.

Still trying to decide. I may go spend a week with my son in Des Moines and work something out from there. He's been bugging me to come and see how he's getting along in that arm pit. If we could fly in for around $200 each or so I'd call that worth it. Too long of a drive, I think.

I didn’t know you are poor.
Not really. Poor enough not to spend too much on something I'm only casually interested in though.
Just flying out to see the game would be cheaper than visiting the boy.
Anyone else throwing away their money to watch the Huskies underperform on the road?
I’m close to pulling the trigger. The ‘Hawks open up in Indy the next day, so a chance at a double road game trip.
If I fly into Columbus or Cincinnati, I’ll do a MLB trip of Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Detroit. If I fly into Chicago I’ll probably end of doing a loop around Lake Michigan. Either way, the Michigan game itself will just be a small part of the trip.

Still waiting to hear if it’s full capacity with no covid ass fuckery involved.

Will drink WA beer and eat WA edibles and watch this 6-3 holocaust by myself in my basement.
