Retirees and people who bought homes between 2009 and 2013.
Just don't call it free sh*t for votes. So, cut your electricity bill by 30% and then have the dems raise your electricity bill by 50%. Don't you feel better about yourself and your vote?
I think we need a rule that if you are currently getting welfare, food stamps, section 8 etc. you shouldn't be able to vote. No approving raises for your own dependency on public assistance. Wouldn't apply to SS etc. you paid into.
For some reason, Fred Meyer's has signs up saying that ID will be required for ANYONE buying alcohol starting August 31. Just more phucking virtue signaling. So, the old bitty cashier, of course wearing a mask, today asked me to show ID for the wine I was buying. I told her no, I would show ID starting on August 31st if that was required. Shocked the bejesus out of her and then she wanted to argue about it. She noticed my Oregon shirt and thought that since I went to Oregon I should be happy to comply because of all the underage kids trying to buy alcohol at the stores. I told her I had no problem with asking for ID if there was a reasonable doubt if they weren't 21, but since this wasn't a reasonable assumption for me, then I would pass. She again said I wasn't being reasonable and that she was a retired school teacher and I had no idea what young people would do to get alcohol. I said, "Gee, I was young once and I had fake ID so I'm pretty sure I know what young people will do". Hell, my brother used to make fake Oregon driver's licenses using the Rusty aka Nick Papagiorgio technique from the street guy in Vegas Vacation. I then said that complying with stupid and unreasonable rules was acting like a sheep and the new rule was stupid and even more stupid was putting up signs saying it would be effective on August 31 and then trying to implement it early. Final word was that I preferred independent thought than stupid virtue signaling.
Like the dazzler with his mythical clients, I pity anyone this old lady had the misfortune to teach. And we wonder where masking of kids came from.

It's not about verifying your age. The gov't wants to track your drinking habits with each scan of your ID barcode.

Yep. Walgreens has been doing this for over a year. I present it but don’t let them scan it.
