The problem that the left has (and they always do this) is that they try to make mountains out of molehills.
The "horrible inssurection! A coup on our country! Countless lives lost! Politicians that no one likes in danger!" narrative just didnt play.
It didn't play because people had been watching riots all summer.
And I was sitting there at work in a couple meetings and maybe one person remarked on it. It was no more interesting than a quick quip or a maybe 10 second conversation.
At no point was anyone's day affected.
When the riots were happening we boarded up windows and shit
So it was difficult to take seriously. It's just a thing that the media tried to make and it fell flat.
Most people were like lol what a bunch of dumbasses. Have fun in jail for 2 days.

I tend to dislike cops. Im a rebel without a cause. But blatantly trying to instigate shit then acting surprised when you get cracked down on elicits no sympathy from me.
