200 rounds of defensive handgun ammo plus practice ammo and 6 spare magazines

1,000 rounds of fighting rifle ammo and 6 spare magazines

200 rounds buck shot and slugs for the riot gun and 300+ of hunting shotgun shells suitable for game in your area

That's the craze. I don't want to do it and then wind up being dated a week later. It was like buying a new BMW in 2006. Big mistake. That was just before they cycled to the new body style, which they don't do frequently. When they do, it makes the old one look very old very quickly.
