He was really exciting with the ball and definitely could have been all conference this year.
He also finished with 9 catches and 5 drops that hit him right in the hands. Just like most of our other receivers, he underachieved based on his potential.
Puka was the one guy I was most fired up about. I figured 2021 was going to be his breakout year where he'd be all-everything.
Jimmy doesn't want you excited about anything except his master plan. Has to run off all the talent so he gets all the credit when we boat race Montana
Nothing has crushed my interest in TBS leveling up like our 4 star WRs.
They have all been mostly worthless, including Puka. Add in that Ngata was supposed to be out of this world and can’t get on the field at Clemson.
Yup. Sawyer will probably be the best of them LOL
Not letting y'all on the #TeamRacc bandwagon. We're full.
I’ve been on the bandwagon. Smart, tough, physical players can always find a role.
I watched what might have been his last high school game before getting hurt. Complete stud.
The other recruit we've had recently who completely dominated evrryone and single handedly won games for his team was Cade Otton. BBK to an extent as well.
One thing about Puka. Part of the sting of him leaving is the fact that he had 2 great plays that everyone remembers him for. As a freshman he caught a ridiculous pass (I think against oregon) where he completely outmuscled a defender afterwards. Then there was the TD catch against Zona last year. Other than that, he had a whole bunch of costly drops and a handful of meaningless catches. He's a little bit in the same boat as String was where he had a memorable game/catch (for String it was the UCLA game) that makes us forget about the fact that he pretty much sucked the rest of the time

Let's keep it hunret. Everyone of those dudes has been twash as fuck. Meanwhile Jaydon has a Super Bowl ring.
I feel zero emotions about Puka leaving. This isn't a defense of Jimmy so don't twist. Rather, I just don't care about a guy till I've seen him ball out on the field like that 2 star WTE from Tumwater.

Allegedly
We'll always have our memories of better tims with Puka
@RaceBannon was there.
Sad!
