I'd favor some kind of tax increase on the wealthy in places like Marin, and Santa Clara and Los Angeles. Those asswholes want to vote for and prop up leftists, let them pay for it.

This doesn't work. Most rich people are smart. They push their money off-shore, find tax free investments, etc. Therefore, the trickle down comes down to the middle class.

Why don't we go back to the fine idea of a flat tax and simplify (i.e. eliminate) much of the tax process? I would vote for this before a system that goes after successful people, what type of culture does that breed?
