it is really disgusting to watch this 'trial', no one will change a vote because of it, the Dems and the Reps will vote party lines with one or two switching sides dependent on how close their next election will be.
If they just got elected they might hope their voters will forget in 6 and 4 years. Those who are up in 2 years will play it a little tighter.
I have to admit that the Dems win 'who is most verbose'.
