My FB "friend" asked whether the outcome would have been different w/ TT outloud. He's a bible thumper. I would've called him on it, but he never responds to any comments I make.

Yes.
Seattle would have beaten New England rather easily...say 34-17, if Tebow was Denver's QB.
Pete is actually a very humble coach. Down 29-0 Manning had to pass every down. Pete could have ended his carear last night. Blitz the shit out of him, put him in the dirt....what does Pete do? He goes 2 safeties deep and calls off the dogs. Let's manning go out like a man
I remember middle school football when our coach felt our linemen needed to improve their tackling. He separated the big kids from the small kids and had us run between narrowly spaced blocking dummies one at a time while the big guys took turns hammering us into the ground with a free run. We had no room to juke or spin or do anything other than a stutter step and then take our pounding. The kids who fumbled had to run 10-20-30s.
I thought of this yesterday because the look on the faces of the Bronco offense reminded me of the expressions in the line of little kids in 8th grade football practice. They were going to get the shit pounded out of them in a way they weren't used to and they knew it.

He won't, of course, but it at least buys you a year.
