What was the place in Bellevue under 405? Is that still there?

Anything you remember about 23rd is likely long gone by now.
    Glaciers, mammoths, cooling rock, etc.

Yes, thank you. I'm not down with masochistic capsaicin but the food was good.

I'm a Pecos Pit fan. Super simple and filling sandwiches, and hot links that are actually hot. The new locations are interesting but I still prefer the original down on 1st Ave.

I enjoyed the Frontier Room. Buddy and I would go get the Ranch Hand platter which was basically a mountain of MEAT.

I've been meaning to try that place on the way to the coast. I also have been meaning to try Jack's BBQ. I used to see the founder/owner at the gym. Super nice guy. Big MEAT so I'm interested.

BBQ Petes is overpriced and sucks.

Edit: Dixies can lick my taint. I thought I was going to die for a solid half of a college basketball game, profusely sweating in my seat. Thy used to have a window at hec ed and that sauce was just ridiculous. I did that little tooth pick and couldn't taste my meal. I get and love spicy stuff but if it doesn't pack a flavor or have any redeeming quality, I just don't get the point.

Yes the Pecos Pit is great. I recall the good old days of Amazon when the corporate office and warehouse was the building that was next to the Pecos Pit. Way too many lunches there. Brisket Sandwich spiked.

Had a pregame lunch there with the boss before the legendary 95 one game playoff against the Angels. When he wanted to treat the office he also ordered from there. It was good but not hood good

The best bbq I've had in Washington is what comes out of my own smoker at home.

This actually works (no smoker necessary):
