    Unpopular opinion - I hated Braveheart. I throughly enjoyed it when one of my history profs shat all over it in a lecture, gleefully pointing out all the historical inaccuracies.

    Liked at the tim quite a bit, but has not held up for me. It did give rise to an early encounter with SJW culture. I was in school at Tim with this real bitch. She was complaining about appropriation of pagan culture in The movie.

    Same as splitskin for me. I liked it when it was new. Then one day I realized I couldn't stand Mel Gibson, his posing and preening, and his WAY over the top need to drag dramatic scenes out with repetitive and unnecessary slow motion.

    I’m not full hate on Mel either. Brace heart and The Patriot (even moreso) just don’t hold up.
    Apocalypto is really good. Thought he was really good in Dragged Across Concrete, despite the movie needing some editing.
