    Usual/Heat/Se7en

    Casino/ Suspects/ Heat

It’s hard for me to vote against Scorcese mob flicks.

I thought 94 was tough. This isn't easier.

There’s gonna be some tuff years in this bitch. Hell, I’ve spoken on the phone with Billy Baldwin a couple of Tims and still voted Casino.

Probably TUS really, but I just personally like Braveheart that much better.

Pesci's role in Casino is a masterpiece. I think about stabbing people in the throat with a pen and then stomping on their crying face about 3 times a week.

I still liked TUS better because of the last couple minutes of it. Watching the gimp Verbal Kint stop limping and slip away as you realize he's actually Keyser Soze while Kujan realizes he's been had at the same time is just incredible film making. The first time I watched it, I had to start it over and watch it again because there's so much going on.

Like I said - hard choices here.

Braveheart was my favorite movie for at least a decade. I can't vote against it. Yet... looking at Heat in particular and to a barely lesser extent Usual Suspects... Fuck, definitely a step below '94, but not a huge one. Se7en, too.

Usual Suspects is a great movie but somewhat overrated.

Braveheart has some of the Mel Gibson schlock, but still holds up pretty well I think. And it's battle scenes are as good as it gets.

Se7en is the most disturbing move I have ever watched.

The way Usual Suspects tied everything together in the end was fantastic. However, the story telling and overall progression of the multiple characters in Casino was outstanding. Casino is the one movie where, if I'm going through the channel guide and see it's on, I'm very tempted to click on it, even though I've seen it more than 10 times.

Casino had a lot of historical accuracy disguised as fictional drama like all good mob movies

Kids today may not realize that Vegas was a mob town as shown in the movie and the events made Vegas a corporate America town as the mob was moved out and prosecuted nationwide

    Allegedly

Dude really did survive a car bomb too

The only thing I don't like and really hate is Sharon Stone and how fucking stupid DeNiro was over her pussy

Hits too close to home I guess. Men are idiots

I don't know mi amigo. I'd do a lot of stupid shit for this pussy.

That’s how I felt the day I dropped the big one on my ex.
Took a dump on her chest, huh? Yeah, I hear some guys are into that. I hear.

Unpopular opinion - I hated Braveheart. I throughly enjoyed it when one of my history profs shat all over it in a lecture, gleefully pointing out all the historical inaccuracies.

Liked at the tim quite a bit, but has not held up for me. It did give rise to an early encounter with SJW culture. I was in school at Tim with this real bitch. She was complaining about appropriation of pagan culture in The movie.

Same as splitskin for me. I liked it when it was new. Then one day I realized I couldn't stand Mel Gibson, his posing and preening, and his WAY over the top need to drag dramatic scenes out with repetitive and unnecessary slow motion.

I’m not full hate on Mel either. Brace heart and The Patriot (even moreso) just don’t hold up.
Apocalypto is really good. Thought he was really good in Dragged Across Concrete, despite the movie needing some editing.

I saw it when it came out and I was the same age as the cast.

And yes, it did fuck me up a little.
