Welp, the printing company just called me and said they have a license agreement with the U of Washington and need to get their permission before printing the shirts. I told them don't bother, that would be shoveling shit against the tide. So... I had to cancel the order.
I will search for suitable options with another printing company, before handing out refunds.
What if they were to spell it "WASHTON" instead? Would that work?

Simple fix - Washington University
I went through the various possibilities like that while on the phone. She said if it can be ID'd as UW, then they run the risk of violating their license agreement.
Just ordered an XL. If there’s ever another Husky fan day, I’m going to have one of my kids get Jen Cohen, Bob Gregory’s and Jackson Sirmon’s autographs on it.
