Legal challenges will take weeks, but it's probably a foregone conclusion. Dems ain't losing this. And favorable courts in most of the States in question ensure they will win without breaking a sweat.

edit: Still think Trumps team should fight like hell in WI and PA.

The only way it gets turned around is a revote. Which I don’t think anyone has the energy for.

I mean its obvious to anyone not being willfully ignorant the fix was in a few states, but yeah, recounting dead peoples ballots isn't going to change it. Covid and mail in ballots provided the perfect cover they needed. Nobody has the time to manually check millions of ballots for authenticity. Banana republic.

If I was the GOP I would pull out all the stops in NC and GA for the Senate races. 'Murica! Where cheating works!

Plus there's zero legal basis to initiate that. PA is on pace to end with a margin of 60-90k for Biden. The end results of this election will be wider than 2016. And despite Hillary having every establishment advantage possible, all the hope of somehow snatching back the election was pathetically feeble.

Trump lost any chance at a win in the last months when all the mail in ballot shit started.

That “trump has so many lawyers trying to suppress the vote, shame on him” is where the election was won

I think I mostly agree. There just isn't a mechanism, short of the less than 1% recount, available. The time to force fair elections is at "point of sale." Covid and mail in ballots allowed for tom foolery. But forcing recounts of ballots, even if they are manufactured, won't change anything. They don't verify the validity of individual ballots during recounts. They just recount them. If 500 dead people voted in some county in WI, they are still going to have voted if you recount them. Election security is a huge problem in this country. I am sure both parties exploit it, but the Dems exploited it BIGLY this election imho.

And frankly a recount isn't going to do shit. Jill Stein somehow found enough money to pay for a recount in Wisconsin in 2016. The end result? Trump's margin widened by a whopping 131 votes.

If there was indeed fraud, then the Trump campaign and his army of lawyers will have every opportunity to contest that in court. And I'd be surprised if they don't fully pursue that, because Trump will never acknowledge defeat. And I know people here are pretty convinced by the Twitter evidence that keeps getting dropped, but good luck having that shit stick in an actual court of law.

The left is patting itself on the back for voting out a man who helped pass prison reform in favor of a man who wrote legislation to send those same folks to prison in the first place. They are giddy to elect a man who selected a woman who called him racist for not wanting bussing because he didn't want his kids to go to school in a jungle.

They're proud of themselves because in less than two years they will have the first female president whos family directly benefitted from slave ownership. They will be proud to call her president when she put thousands of black men in jail for minor drug offenses and laughed off smoking weed in college.

Antifa is not showing any signs of slowing down- how much patience will they have when they continue to burn police precincts, harass individuals and stop traffic?

Liberals are dancing because they ousted a man who halted travel to the country that brought us COVID in favor of a man who called him a xenophobe for that action.

Good luck libs- looking forward to Nikki Haley in 2024

    Fuck those guys. Unity, right?

Trump on the road the next two years stumping for his disciples in the House and local elections. Dude ain't just going away quietly to Mar A Lago.

I feel like you think I was disagreeing with you. lulz

I said the same thing, though from a different viewpoint I imagine. My guy isn't likely to win. I feel pretty certain hijinks were involved, but none of it matters, because it is super unlikely to get a favorable court ruling in the states in question, and there is almost no mechanism that exists to unwind this. A recount does nothing. It's the same people counting the same votes. The issue is on the front end, at "point of sale," and magic ballots, etc. There is no reversing those because nobody is going to order every single ballot, in a sea of millions, to be verified as an actual living person who was entitled to vote. It just isn't going to happen. So yeah, it's over. So while we probably have a different viewpoint on how "fair" this election was, we end up at the same place. There is almost nothing Trump can do about it, so it's over.

Let's be real - hardly anyone is giddy over the prospect of Biden. They're just happy to see Trump ousted. I'm sure a good chunk of the 80 million people who voted for Biden will readily admit he's a stuttering old man who couldn't possibly be fit for another election in 2024. And he's probably a Weekend at Bernie's surrogate for this upcoming term anyways. If I were a betting man I'd say the @dnc has no interest in trotting him out for a second term when he's in his 80s and we'll have two fresh candidates. Hopefully they're both decades younger.

You overestimate how many people actually like Biden and underestimate how many people despise Trump.

They’re happy because Queen Kamala sits at the ready.

She should have her hand on the Bible when Joe gets sworn in.

I think that would be a huge mistake. Maybe I'm a sexist pig who thinks all strong women sound shrill, but Kamala is just genuinely unlikeable. If the dems pick her she's getting blown the fuck out in '24. Pete Booty OTOH has been impressive in his rounds on Fox, and I think the dems would be much smarter to go with him. Maybe give him four years to guzzle rhino cum and build up his street cred with the blacks.

Or, better yet, #YangGang returns. I don't think any dem truly gets just how screwed over the blue collar working class in America has been these last three decades, and exactly why Trump appealed so much to them. Except for Yang. He's also smart enough to keep the identity politics at arms' length because he sees just how unappealing that is to broad swaths of the country.

Yang has no chance of ever winning the DNC nom precisely because he'd rather focus on issues than aggrievances.

I live in John Lewis' district- I am quite certain that I don't underestimate the hatred of Trump. It's not even hidden when you're at Christmas parties and folks openly pray for his death. The left is giddy they hold the office and they gleefully look away from both his and her records.

I hope you're wrong, but I've learned to never dispute your predictions.

But Yang sees it, and I only hope the rest of the party can too. Once you get past the ridiculous exterior of everything Trump, there's a very real economic populism that he tapped into and the dems would be fools to not try to address that. Especially since that should be their bread and butter ideologically, but they instead decided to get distracted by pronouns and diversity trainings. The fact that they let a Park Avenue TV rich guy who plates his penthouses in gold and fucks pornstars capture the message of "the elites have forgotten about you but I'm gonna fix that" is political malpractice.

I honestly don't disagree. It just seems the DNC has gone too far down the rabbit hole. But I never would have predicted Trump would be a thing either so maybe there's somebody out there who can bring the left back to issues. I don't think it's Yang though, much as I'd like it to be.
