I already explained the Lakers and Kobe's plan when the extension was signed. Get Kobe to number 2 all time in scoring, sign Kevin Love after next season and then Durant the season after that or Westbrook the season after that.

That is about as financially viable as Obamacare.

It's all starting to come together for me now to decipher apag's thought process.

I would love for you to explain why that's not "financially viable".

    Oops my bad.

Sucks that you won't be getting either one of them though.

Westbrook signed a five year extension in 2012 with no opt out and Durant actually wants to win a championship.

But I'm sure Carmelo will take your Money.

Because OKC is serious about winning a championship.

They moved the fuck out of Seattle. If that doesn't say "serious about winning a championship", what does?

No they aren't. They are cheap fucks who won't get into the luxury tax. If they were serious about winning a championship, they would have kept James Harden.

If the Lakers are serious about basketball next year they stay the hell away from Melo, go get Kevin Love, and tell Kobe thanks and then ask him to LEAVE!!!!!

Love is a better rebounding Carmello. No defense, high volume shooter. He's a very good player, but you will never win shit with him unless you have a top 5 defensive center playing next to him. I guess you could say the same about Dirk at one point, but Dirk is a legit 7 footer.

I think love would make them competitive again but he isn't a championship player, everyone tries to play him up as this top 5 guy, and they constantly spew out statistics, he's 5 times the player in the 1st quarter as he is in the 4th, a big reason why they can't win close games. Can the guy take a team to the playoffs first? christ!

Why do you hate lottery picks and getting Jabari Parker? And Dwight Howard would have been fine with Mello. Had Jackson been coaching Howard and Mello, this team would be at the top, no 3rd best in LA
