What a gift Rogan is too. I will never become one that picks everything about him apart. I even feel guilty about saying he’s not a great comedian because by any real measure, he is. Just shows we all pick apart everyone in the internet age, even guys we love.

Fandom was always stupid. I can’t fathom liking something so much to spend hundreds on them like people do with certain musicians or sports with tickets, jerseys, etc, but Rogan would be right bear the top for me. He was podcasting before it was cool, put in years of putting out a quality show that was HIS show, and now he’s rewarded for it. The guy is a national treasure.

yeah, sorry not sorry, not going to get on knees for one of the people that advocated stupid liberal California politics and then abandoned ship on the statism he helped create.

I like Joe but in my eyes it's pretty unforgivable that he didn't take a hard look in the mirror at that point and instead just packed it in and moved to help make Texas the next blue state.
So you don’t like him for one thing he did or an opinion you don’t agree with? Not even sure what you’re talking about, is this a Bernie reference? The guys puts out four podcasts a week that are three hours long, with no bits, just conversation. He has an open mind towards everything. I don’t get what’s not to like?
People dont like it if you endorse ideas, leave the place enacting a lot of your ideas because its turning to shit, and then keep those same ideas.

Has he said why he left?

To avoid California income tax on the 100 million dollar deal or something? Seems a bit hypocritical for a guy that has said how much he likes Bernie and Tulsi type candidates.
Maybe he just is tired of California and realized he doesn’t have to live there? These guys all loved the Comedy Store. That is shut down.

Him agreeing with Bernie points doesn’t mean that is who he is. He has tons of episodes. I don’t give a fuck who he votes for. This shit is the same problem as people who want to cancel everything. Either enjoy the show or don’t.
Don't disagree with this, but have to agree with @Houhusky on some of this...Rogan is free to think and vote how he feels. I'm not an avid listener of his podcast but I've heard a few and enjoyed them. But there isn't a whole lot of thinking going on in Rogan's head if he's leaving Cali because its turned into a hell-hole (taxes, homelessness, govt intervention in businesses, etc.) due to politics he's supported in the past, and then he keeps those same political ideas while moving to a place he likes better (which has prospered in part by not enacting those policies...).

Its hard to take anyone seriously who says in one breath they are a Bernie guy and then says in another they want to move to Texas because Texas is doing things correctly...
Rogan is a fuck. Sit in Cali and reap what you've sewn fuckface.
Love you buddy, but don’t understand. What does Rogan have to do with California? What difference does it make where he lives? He didn’t want to be there, tax reasons are probably the truth, so he left. I feel like I’m missing something.
    Love you too BFF XOXOXOXOXOX

Look, I actually love Rogan. Watched him for years doing MMA, standup, even really enjoyed him on Meat Eater (top shelf hunting stuff). Love the guy. But a public Bernie supporter ditching a high tax state is so "high level left wing silliness" I can't stand it. It's rank hypocrisy. One of the things I like least about the left. Like Nancy and the hair salon. Do as I say, not as I do. All of you assholes should pay high taxes for stuff, but not me, I'm moving to Texas to fuck that place up like asshole Californians have done to Colorado, Washington, Nevada, and a host of other states that will turn blue soon enough.

Stick around and enjoy the homeless, high taxes, rolling brownouts, wildfires and riots. You voted for it. But they rarely do. They move somewhere else and then vote for the exact shit they ran away from. I still like listening to the dipshit, but I now sort of see him as just another hypocrite lib.
Not that it’s an excuse but his love of Bernie was that he was “real” and “honest” and to a degree confessed to illiteracy on the details of his platform. Joe is getting red pilled hard right now.

I wasn’t a big podcast guy until I moved back to the US this winter and realizes how even more fucked MSM had become over the 3 years I was gone. JRE, Tim Pool, Weinstein, they’re all red pilled enough I can agree or at least acknowledge their reasoning. But I listened to none of these guys before the red pilling.

Rogan: Lives in CA, votes/advocates for socialism/progressivism

California: Enacts socialism/progressivism, things go to shit

Rogan: Moves to Texas bc things went to shit, votes/advocates for socialism/progressivism in Texas

It's HARD to see why as a Californian I have a problem with that...

When your accountant spells out that 13.5% state income tax on your $100m things change quickly.

That is hypocritical of Rogan if that’s the case. I don’t know what his current political views are, but he wouldn’t be the first liberal who is OK with other people paying taxes, but all of sudden become fiscally conservative when it comes to their *own* money.
I don't listen to every minute of every episode. I haven't heard him bitch much about taxes.

I’ve watched a lot of Rogan podcasts. He’s socially liberal, but fiscally conservative. And he loves guns and hunting. He’s probably more of a libertarian.

In the episode with David Lee Roth, Joe said he would gladly pay more taxes if it meant that police, firefighters, nurses and EMTs could be paid more.

    Libertarians don't support Bernie...

Rogan seems nice but he can't be the sharpest tool in the shed...its one thing to say 'I don't follow politics so I can say crazy contradictory political shite like Bernie great and I'm moving to Texas' but he literally spends hours upon hours a week talking about all this shite with people across the spectrum. He's either lying to everybody about his real politics or he is bordering on HondoFS speed-limit IQ...

True libertarians certainly don’t support Bernie. There’s a population out there that claims to be libertarian, but don’t really know what it means.

I read somewhere there is a lot of cross over apparently between Ron Paul voters and the Bernie bros. Which is weird on the surface, but I think is explained as hipsters pushing counter culture wherever they can find it, the policies themselves don’t matter. Paul was that guy in 2010-2012, mostly just because of his anti fed policies, which fit in with the OWS crowd.

They didn’t understand what they were aligned with then, same as now. I put Rogan in that category.
