They aren't coming to Oregon for any single reason. It's a culmination of many things, and Feld's antics are just one thing that culminates into Oregon's entire recruiting brand. While teams like UW, have coaches that kind of do their own thing (posting pictures of skeletons with random quotes), Oregon's coaches have a purpose for everything they do on the recruiting trail. Feld feeds into this high energy style Cristobal wants to instill with the coaches and the players. Feld is a total tool, I won't argue that, but players relate to this type of energy. Co-sign on everything that’s been said in this thread...I too used to mock Feld but you can’t argue with bowl wins.
Oregon has, much to my chagrin, hit upon that sweet spot of having fun and getting results.
I think UW had that during the Petersen administration here and there for a New York Minute, but for the most part were too tense.
I don’t know if Swaye, or who said it, but the best UW teams are like mullets...business in the front, party in the back.
