    Advice for larger yards
    Mower setting:
When one has goats it is best to mow the fields when the goats stop browsing and start trying to go over and thru fence to the stuff growing on the other side. I set my brush hog at 6-10 inches. Then hope things will grow back.
    Fencing:
Best to use two hot wire lines, one at the top but careful not to go above height* of the fence. The second line should be set at average shoulder height of the goats. They have a tendency to rub against the fence.
    Gates:
Have enough gates to block the goats from having access to areas where the hot wire was not properly installed and the goats ruined the fencing. I have 4 areas that I can confine the goats. Make sure you always pin/lock gates, goats can easily open simple latched gates. and get into the tack room. and rearrange everything. and eat everything. damn goats.

*birds will land on the electric fence wire, causing the wire to lower and shorting out, which in turn will send the into a very uncomfortable place. Sometimes into the air, sometimes into the ground, sometimes just off the fence back up in the air. Depends on size of bird.

Our two dwags have turned the entire back yard into a fucking war zone this year. I plant things, they fuck them up. So I mailed it in this year with just a few pots for beans, peppers, and herbs.

I hate my dogs when I'm in the fenced part of the yard. It used to be so nice. Now it's full of partially healed holes, chewed up sticks, and a wide path of bare dirt around the whole perimeter just from them running around being dicks.

I'm hoping these two retards grow out of it, but I'm beginning to think it's going to be a long-term issue. They're either running around at 400 mph and throwing up clouds of dust, or digging holes that fill up with rain and then coming to the door covered in mud. And my pile of firewood on the back patio is now missing.

I'm not sure what the fuck I was thinking.

What I'm mad about was the pumpkins. I had some good vines going, and those two knotheads destroyed them all. It's going to bug me all over again when I start jonesing for pumpkin seeds.

I used to have a German shepherd that would steal my firewood and made a stash in the woods. I didn't have the heart to take it back as she had some weird attachment issues with it. Crazy dog.

I watch more Bravo than I would like to admit. This show was on after Million Dollar Listing LA last week. I quit after a few min. Maybe I’ll give it another try soon.

Okay here's a question. Every summer on my balcony I have 2-4 flowering plants. The other day I was sitting out there and realized I hadn't seen a single bee all year long. In the past there have always been bees buzzing around the balcony. I wonder how serious the bee depopulation is becoming? I read an article earlier this year that they were making a comeback.
