During a phone interview with The News Tribune in June, UW athletic director Jen Cohen was asked about the possibility of a canceled football season.
“What is the impact? You wouldn’t have operations,” she said. “You wouldn’t have people to support those operations. I think schools don’t know yet what they would do in a scenario where there’s no football because they wouldn’t be able to offer other sports either if that was the case. Are you shutting down to revamp?”
Sounds like a fine time to fire
If you hadn't run through the scenarios of no football back in June, you probably should be fired

And if you don't have any sports there is no reason to pay her or anyone

How much does WSU, OSU, Stanford, and Cal lose a year even with football? What is that going to be now without football?
USC, Oregon, Washington, and whoever is serious (ha ha...yeah right...) ought to start talking to the Big 12 about combining up or just go ahead and shut everything down...not sure where the money will come from to prop up about half of the Athletic Departments up with no football this year.
Why do the Prez keep Larry employed? As soon as they see those bills they are going to be furious. Seems like they ought to fire him with cause for not being prepared and task the new guy with getting the season running this fall. When the season comes around I'm sure the Pac12 will be the only power conference not playing...the Big10 will play. They just don't know it yet.
