Everyone that can is leaving Kali.

In THIS economy?

Fuck...don't come here. He thinks Cali's problem is too many people, not the idiotic policies they have put in place here.
Shit like this is what will eventually turn Texas blue... -
What happens first, California red or Texas blue?
Joe is an asset to Texas, I’d be proud to say he lives here -
California is never going red again in my lifetime. They don't blame the politics here for any of the problems. It's all the evils of capitalism and Trump's America.LoneStarDawg said:What happens first, California red or Texas blue?

They'll certainly move to another state and vote for the same stupid shit. Just look at Nevada, Colorado, and now Washington as well.UW_Doog_Bot said:

That's what I don't understand. You leave Cali for a place you can afford with good schools. Then you vote hard left to duplicate the Cali experience you just left.UW_Doog_Bot said:

You have to be capable of reason and multiple stage thinking to put that together.WestlinnDuck said:

The vast majority of people I know that moved from California and now the Seattle hellscape just say “it’s so much cheeper”, “I can afford so much more house” or “I got a better job” and that’s the extent of the thinking...UW_Doog_Bot said:

They are often people with 1% education levels with 1% income levels for their age constantly ranting about the evils of the 1%.
If they were pressed about what is going on in California or Seattle they would just sigh and say “I know, isn’t it just so horrible and sad....” and then take a sip of their micro vineyard $25 cab that drinks like a merlot, pat their designer dog, and then donate to the closest BLM/planned parenthood joint chapter. -
Carolla basically said as much during his last appearance on Tucker.
At least we can retake the beaches in twenty years against their biofuel powered raft navy. -
Long tim ago, Carolla talked about owning some property in Anacortes, I think, and wanting to relo there, but shot down by family.SpoonieLuv said:Carolla basically said as much during his last appearance on Tucker.

Carolla openly talked in 2010-2013ish about how Seattle and Portland were the kind of places California should be emulating. They has their shit together.GrundleStiltzkin said:

Hope Rogan isn’t going to Austin. There’s another awesome city that’s getting ruined.

I remember my Austin phase.

That's true in one aspect but not completely true, at least as I remember it. He used to go on and on about how clean our streets were and how Kirkland had orange flags to carry when crossing sidewalks. He juxtaposed that to all the garbage and mattresses that people in LA dumped onto sidewalks and then would just leave them there. But I don't remember him ever saying that we were a perfect utopia.Bob_C said:

Fair point, mostly because he’s apolitical. He’s a free thinker and promotes open discussions.trublue said:

Yeah it was anecdotal praise, more of a rip on LA than true praise. He also did really well in both cities which helps you like them. Maybe there’s hope for the populations. Another city he always talked about was Minneapolis too...DerekJohnson said:
