    Pac 12 bowl slate is a #fuckingdreckfest

seriously 3 of your fuckin 7 slots are against mid majors. then 2 against the Big 12 (dreckfest) and one against the ACC. + the Rose Bowl.

While i watch the Big 10 get raped by the SEC all winter i wonder what the fuck Larry Scott is doing?

We're ditching the New Mexico Bowl next year for the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl (Big 12).

Holiday Bowl and Fight Hunger Bowls will be Big Ten opponents.

    So 2014 should be:

    Rose (Big 10)
#2 should get an access bowl (prob Fiesta or Cotton) unless they're shitty and not in the top 12 in the country
    Alamo (Big 12)
    Holiday (Big 10)
    Fight Hunger (Big 10)
    Sun (ACC)
    Vegas (MWC)
    Wild Wings (Big 12)

Like it or not the west coast doesn't give a shit about college football and certainly doesn't travel well compared to the other conferences. The fact that direct tv doesnt negotiate with the conference tells you everything you need to know. The bowls reflect this. Getting another bowl in Arizona was a good move. Also only one with the mwc (their champ) is definitely an upgrade from when Scott took over.

You're right. Only Oregon and us really travel (usually, if it's not a shitty game in SF nobody cares about). Colorado and Utah might travel if they were ever good. The CA schools are hopeless.

Actually it will be nice to ditch the MWC for the Big 10, 12 and ACC conferences.

I would like to travel to another bowl in my lifetime, but it has to be a good matchup at an interesting venue such as Phoenix, San Diego, or San Francisco if it can't be Pasadena. I'm not sure I would go to Dallas or San Antonio, but a major bowl in Miami or New Orleans would be great!
