"Waning" is Rnaught below one. The Atlanta Journal Constitution has a running tally of calculated Rnaughts by day. Only very recently has the number ever been below one--and only briefly and by a few hundreths of a point on those occasions. And even recently, the Rnaught has been more above one than below it.SFGbob said:

By no meaning of the word is the virus "waning" in Georgia. It's not spiking either . . . yet . . . as best we can tell.SFGbob said:virus has continued to steadily infect people and shows no signs of waning.
Any chance that this "steady" infection has to do with more people being tested? And by every meaning of the word the virus is "waning" fuck off CNN
Today they had 26. Fuck off Dazzler. Infections, despite increased testing has gone from 945 to 26 but in the land of lying worthless Kunt's the virus isn't "waning."
And I don't know where you got 26 new infections. Georgia reported 583 new cases and 47 deaths just today. -
Is it possible you meant to say, “Today is the 26th.”?SFGbob said:

583 > 26, or so I’m told.

My conspiracy theory is alive and well. Antibody tests being discredited by the CDC and CNN.

Daddy says Georgia opened too soon. But Michigan should be liberated! I can sense your confusion.Bob_C said:

The truth is that in GA the deaths are way down. The amount of testing for the virus has increased dramatically which is skewing the graphs back up even though we are way below our highs. What Bob was referencing is the running daily total from yesterday. When he pulled up the graph that is what was reported at that time. I know because I looked it up when I read the post.HHusky said:

The numbers you are referencing are a running 7 day average of confirmed cases and again those numbers are up because of more testing. I have been cautiously optimistic that we did the right thing. For my friends who are small business owners we absolutely did the right thing. As of right now, people can post all the yahoo and CNN articles they want that are attempting to make the GA Gov decision to open up a month ago look bad but the results and the trends speak for themselves. So far the decision has been a winner. If I was in OR with only 150 deaths and low transmission rates I would be extremely upset with my Governor and the damage that has been done to the economy. -
Its just not that hard to look at the numbers and see what's happening is actually good news- unless you're a dem and this is your last hope to win the White house in 2020. Driving around town this weekend we saw a number of drive thru test sites. Numbers of positives went up you say? Gosh, why?
